The Great Oasis Located about two thirds of the way down the peninsula, it is one of the only permanent drifter settlements. Few people actually live there, but everyone stops at the oasis if they happen past. The place is something like one giant market square with hundreds of drifters sharing stories and offering their wares for sale. |

East Cost The eastern coast of the Harran Peninsula is less subject to sudden storms than the west is. The water is warm and the weather is generally mild. When storms do blow in, however, they can be more fierce and damaging than any from the west. |

Northern Cliffs In the north, the land is jagged and rocky with many bluffs, narrow gullies and steep plateaus. The area is generally know as the Northern Cliffs by the Drifters. |

The Caves In the Northeaster part of the desert, there is an extensive network of underground caves. Most were formed naturally, but over the years, drifters have made their own additions. |
