The Cobalt Forest receives more rain than nearly anywhere else in Desai. The forest is thick and green from the Linian Mountains to the coast and hosts and abundance of animal life. Some Highlanders choose to travel down and live in the forest, though not many.

Much of the food grown in Desai is grown in the croplands to the south of Lytane. Some farmers live in small communities scattered throughout the croplands to tend to the plants. Most bring their harvest to Lytane to sell, though some go Valaire as well.

The Trent Plains are found between the Harran Desert and the croplands. It is a prairie with gentle hills and almost completely deserted but for the occasional Drifter up from the south

The Harran Desert in the south of Desai is the home of the Drifters and hot, inhospitable land.

The Middlun plains are very flat with a few small rolling hills, trickling streams and rocky buttes. There are many animals that make there homes here, very few humans.

The Valairean Plains to the north of Valaire are as flat an open as the rest of the plains, though not as deserted. Some citizens of Valaire have chosen to built their homes outside the city, though not often too far away.

The Icehorn Forest is apply names. Winds bring cold air down from the north, laying a blanket of frost on the forest for most of the year. Most of the trees in the Icehorn forest are pine and there isn't an abundance of underbrush.

The Pyron Mountains aren't as high or forbidding as the Linian Mountains. The east side of the mountains are covered in forest and creep only partial down the west side. Grass, brush and scattered windblown trees cover the western slopes

The Isern Forest is not so thick as the Cobalt forest, but more inviting than the Icehorn. It is an old forest, with great leafy oaks and grassy clearings. The near the Red Glades, the forest turns boggy and wet
